Applications Support – Sofia

Kenes Group is looking for an application support person who will be responsible for our events abstract submission process and back office support.


  • Set up back office and online systems,
  • System Q&A from the back office and user side
  • Prepare system for meetings with scientific committees and allocate materials for meetings
  • Generate progress reports including statistical reports
  • Support congress participants after abstract submission
  • Set up links for online programme
  • Set up/manage scientific programme (data entry, scheduling, programme drafts, generate reports)
  • Prepare materials for print/online publication including XML, eBook, congress app
  • Preparation and management of all aspects of the scientific programme
  • Work with the committee on the scientific programme including abstract processing/scheduling
  • Receive/upload information/data to the congress database
  • Provide texts (in English) for project literature including proofreading
  • Manage, track and QA the scientific programme
  • Adhere to work procedures and production deadlines
  • Track project material (e.g. abstracts)


  • Highly detail-oriented, well organised, attention to detail and accuracy, able to process vast amounts of data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure for long periodswhile meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to draft correspondence in English
  • Excellent communication skills, Service oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge for Excel, Word, PP

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in administration support
  • Excellent English (verbal & written) Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook.
