Hotel Sales Specialist – Sofia

We are looking for a Hotel Sales Specialist to join our Hotel Sales Department. Its main goal is to promote and sell congress accommodation to companies and delegates, while maintaining high quality of knowledge and service. The Hotel Sales Specialist will be working with many different destinations all around the world.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect general information about the congress and destination;
• Work closely with the procurement department;
• Recommend selling rates according to Kenes’ selling strategies, while comparing to market;
• Work closely with CRM system – SalesForce;
• Proactively approach relevant leads and conduct discussion with potential clients;
• Create tailor made offers and manage the negotiation process;
• Identify sales challenges with potential groups and solve discrepancies;
• Re-activate lost customers when possible;
• Follow-up on hotel allocation in cooperation with the Operations Team;
• Create special promotions in line with the Marketing Department;
• Quality assurance of the hotel section on congress websites;
• Manage online reservation system for individual bookings;
• Arrange clients’ site visit before the congress;
• Go to sales site visit with potential companies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business/tourism is preferred;
• Sales experience or in a similar position– at least one year;
• Hotel/Tourism experience;
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal);
• Strong self-management;
• Ability and desire to travel abroad;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
• Service-oriented personality;
• Computer Literacy + CRM;
• Foreign languages are an asset.
