Gideon Rivlin (1932-2021)

Gideon Rivlin
Gideon Rivlin founded Kenes Group in 1965 and served as its President and Chairman of the Board.
A seasoned industry expert, Gideon was honoured with the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) award in 2006 in recognition of his vision, dedication, and lifetime achievement in the Professional Congress Organisation (PCO) field. He has also served as President of the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO).

Dan Rivlin
Dan Rivlin joined Kenes in 1993 and rose through the ranks of the organisation holding senior managerial positions, including Operations Director, prior to becoming CEO in 1999 until 2022 when he took on the role of Executive Chair and Chief Vision Officer (EC & CVO).
Dan’s vision and guidance coupled with accumulated experience and expertise gives Kenes Group its time-honoured stability and market presence. He holds a B.Sc. in Hospitality Management from Florida International University and an MBA from Bradford University, with a specialty in management.
Dan Rivlin is listed in the Eventex 2023 Index of Top 50 Most Influential People in the Events Industry in Asia and the Middle East.

Ori Lahav

Ori Lahav
Ori Lahav is the Chief Executive Officer of Kenes Group, a global leader in organising medical and scientific congresses and providing association management services since 1965. With over a decade of leadership in the international meetings industry, Ori has been instrumental in driving Kenes’ global growth, innovation, and sustainability agenda.
A recognised industry leader, Ori served as President of IAPCO (International Association of Professional Congress Organisers) and was elected to the PCMA Board of Directors in 2025, reflecting his global influence across the business events ecosystem. Under his leadership, Kenes became one of the first PCOs to achieve ISO 20121:2024 certification for sustainable event management, reinforcing the company’s commitment to ESG principles and long-term impact.
Passionate about the intersection of technology, guest experience, and event design, Ori is a sought-after speaker on topics such as AI, cross-industry collaboration, and the future of business events. He has been named by Eventex as one of the 100 most influential people in the meetings industry and continues to shape conversations on how events create legacy and transformative value for associations, destinations, and participants.
Ori holds a BA in Statistics from the University of Haifa and an MBA from the University of Derby, UK.

Avital Rosen-Topel

Avital Rosen
Avital Rosen-Topel began her career with Kenes in 1991, quickly gaining experience managing various Kenes departments prior to her role as assistant to the Tourism Department manager.
A skilled manager and team leader, Avital was promoted to Project Manager and in 2008, was promoted to Director of Operations until 2014, when she became Director of Client Accounts.
As of 2022, Avital is leading the business development efforts of the Group as VP Business Development. To date, Avital has successfully managed over 200 Kenes events. She is listed in the Eventex 2023 Index of Top 50 Most Influential People in the Events Industry.
Rosen holds a BA in Humanities from Tel Aviv University.

Limor Cunia
VP Clients & Operations
Limor Cunia
Limor Cunia joined Kenes Group in 2006. She began her career in the events industry as an Association Manager, handling several medical associations and after five years she moved to project management organising medical and scientific congresses around the world. In 2018, Limor was promoted to Director Client Accounts gaining experience and managing various congress accounts.
In 2022, Limor joined the management team of Kenes Group leading the Business Unit as VP Clients & Operations. She is listed in the Eventex 2023 Index of Top 50 Most Influential People in the Events Industry in Asia and the Middle East.
Cunia holds a BA degree from the EBS in London, UK.

Adi Ingber

Adi Ingber
Adi joined Kenes Group in 2022 bringing over 15 years of experience in HR from global companies in the high-tech and consumer goods fields. She is overseeing all aspects of human resources including retention, organisational culture, talent development, HR policies, procedures, and compliance. Adi is skilled in human resource consulting and implementing strategies and processes. Ingber is human resources graduate from the College of Management Academic Studies.

Omri Peled
Omri Peled joined Kenes Group in 2024 as Associate Vice President of Marketing. He began his career in marketing and digital strategy, working across a variety of industries and developing expertise in both brand, performance, and data marketing. After several leadership roles focused on digital transformation and business growth, Omri moved into overseeing strategic initiatives and managing business operations. With nearly 20 years of experience in e-commerce and digital innovation, Omri now leads the marketing efforts as VP Marketing at Kenes Group.

Uzi Drori

Uzi Drori
Uzi Drori joined Kenes Group in 2009 as IT Team Leader. He started his career in startups in Tel Aviv as a software engineer and a project manager. From 2011 to 2013, Uzi held the position of Application Manager, after which he was promoted to Director of IT. In 2022, Uzi joined the management team as Chief Information Officer, bringing more than 20 years of IT expertise.
Uzi Drori is listed in the Eventex 2023 Index of Top 50 Most Influential People in the Events Industry in Asia and the Middle East.
He holds a BA in Accounting and business management and a BA in computer science.

Natan Lieber

Natan Lieber
Natan Lieber joined Kenes Group as Chief Financial Officer in 2025, bringing over 15 years of experience in global finance and operations. He has led international teams, overseen financial strategy, and implemented transformative systems to drive efficiency and growth. Natan’s expertise spans treasury, capital raising, financial reporting, and taxation.
Before Kenes, he held senior leadership roles at UVeye and Mobileye (MBLY), contributing to their global expansion and operational success, including a notable IPO.
Natan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with a BA in Economics and Accounting and an M.B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Louise Gorringe

Louise Gorringe
Louise Gorringe has over 15 years of experience working with medical and scientific associations as part of Kenes Group. She began her journey at Kenes as Membership Manager, leading the delivery of membership services and advising societies on strategy and development. She later advanced to Senior Account Manager and Executive Director roles, overseeing key client relationships and guiding major international medical societies.
Since 2017, Louise has served as AVP of Association Management, leading a team of over 40 professionals and supporting 28 global associations. Under her leadership, the Association Management business has grown significantly, both in scope and scale. She has played a key role in expanding service offerings, strengthening operational processes, and building a high-performing team with a strong culture of client excellence. Louise brings proven expertise in working with association leaders to shape strategic plans, optimise governance structures, and deliver high-impact initiatives that have consistently driven long-term growth and increased community engagement.
Originally from the UK and now based in Geneva, Switzerland, Louise brings a strong background in marketing and communications, with over a decade of prior experience. She holds a BSc in Psychology and Management and an Advanced Certificate in Marketing Management and Practice from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

Noa Sapir joined Kenes in 2023 as Global Director of Original Events. She leads the strategic vision and development of the company’s proprietary conference portfolio, driving innovation, long-term value, and sustainable growth.
With more than two decades of experience across tourism, destination marketing, and international business events, Noa brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial leadership and industry insight. Prior to joining Kenes Group, she founded and led the Tel Aviv Convention Bureau, playing a pivotal role in positioning the city as a MICE destination.
Throughout her career, Noa has been recognised for her ability to build strong bridges between associations, destinations, and industries, creating impactful collaborations and meaningful experiences that leave a lasting global legacy.

Carolina Groenendal
Carolina Groenendal is AVP Digital & Partnerships at Kenes Group, where she leads strategic growth across sponsorship, exhibitions, and digital education, driving impactful collaborations across the global portfolio. She plays a key role in expanding Kenes’ online learning ecosystem, developing innovative formats that extend the impact of medical congresses beyond the live event.
With deep expertise in sponsorship, exhibition sales, and partnership development, Carolina leads a high-performing team that builds strong industry relationships supporting Kenes’ mission to deliver exceptional scientific and medical events worldwide. She is known for her creative problem-solving, commercial insight, and commitment to delivering measurable value for partners and stakeholders.
Brazilian and based in Amsterdam, she brings a global perspective and a forward-thinking approach to innovation in medical education.

Dr. Markus Preußner
Dr. Markus Preußner joined the INTERPLAN team in 2003 in the position of Managing Director and co-owner. An industry veteran, earlier in his career, Markus managed the congress department at the publishing house Moderne Industrie in Landsberg, coupled with other senior management roles in the conference planning industry.

Bruno Lichtinger
Bruno Lichtinger began his professional career in the hotel industry and worked in various locations and venues in Germany and Switzerland prior to joining INTERPLAN more than 25 years ago. From 1990, Bruno held the position of deputy CEO of INTERPLAN and since 2002, has been the company’s Managing Director and co-owner.

Sadik Caglar
Sadik Caglar has been active in the congress management industry for over two decades and he has been the Managing Director of one of the leading destination management companies in Turkey. Since 2010, he has held the position of Managing Director of Kenes M+ serving global associations. Sadik and his team of professionals manage numerous congresses around the world. Sadik has a degree in History from Bosphorus University Istanbul.

Jason Ng
Jason Ng was instrumental in establishing Kenes’ presence in Asia, in conjunction with local partner, PICO, a leading total brand activation company and global brand strategy partner for many Fortune 500 companies. Jason brings more than 15 years of experience and expertise in conference organisation and exhibition management. In his role as Managing Director, Jason and his team are responsible for marketing and sales and management of congresses in the region.
