Partnerships & Grants Associate – Global

Kenes Group is looking for a highly motivated Partnerships & Grants Associate with experience in raising funds from companies (pharmaceuticals and medical devices) and foundations for conferences and online education. Industry funds support the development of online learning portals and online educational activities/professional development in health and sciences. The Partnerships & Grants Associate will join Kenes Group’s Digital Education team, reporting directly to the Head of Industry Partnerships.

Responsibilities
•Work closely with your manager and education team to create and lead the sales strategy for client/partner/field and Digital Department; Provide strategic advice and practical support to teams on partnerships, grants and fundraising.
•Identifying appropriate grant applications and partnership funding proposals to meet the programming both company’s and client’s needs; manage and increase database of potential partners per field.
•Relationship management with current partners & increase funding level, while continuously developing new partnerships and securing funding; Develop and maintain relationships with thought leaders and supporters and actively pursue new business opportunities.
•Work closely with ILS team (fundraising for congresses) and the Education team (creating all online education);
•Meet targets through fundraising for a diverse portfolio of education programs;
•Research, identify and document available and relevant grant opportunities (in Salesforce);
•Play a role in developing education programs for grant applications by working with education managers and clients to develop education that is aligned with industry interests;
•Build budgets for industry grant applications based on educational programs, with the responsible team members;
•Develop a strategic approach towards grant applications, industry partners, partnerships and fundraising for online medical education;
•Generate and coordinate background information on each activity (online portal and/or conference) in cooperation with relevant Kenes departments. Build relationships with granting institutions.
•Supervise and/or draft all correspondence, agreements, and reports, including LOAs (Letters of Agreement), as well as budgets and delivery times in close cooperation with relevant Kenes departments.
•Leading program reporting back to industry partners on education activities.

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree (medical and/or bioscientific field advantageous) .
•5+ years of experience in grants and/or fundraising.
•Organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
•Excellent verbal and written English skills.
•Experience in raising sponsorship and grant funds from pharmaceutical and medical device industry and foundations -an advantage.
•Experience in professional medical writing (as a scientific or medical education company, or equivalent -an advantage).
•Experience with adult learning – advantage.
