Kenes Collaborating with ESTENSIS and Zehndetails on Das Terminal
Introduced at NMDPD 2014, Kenes' uniquely innovative and attractive e-posters were one of the highlights of the event.
Geneva, Switzerland, December 9, 2014 – Kenes Group, a leading Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) and Association Management Company (AMC), today announced the overwhelming success of its new e-posters, a result of Kenes’ recent cooperation with ESTENSIS and Zehndetails who developed the product, Das Terminal. Introduced at NMDPD 2014, the 10th International Congress on Non-Motor Dysfunctions in Parkinson’s Disease and Related Disorders in Nice, France (Dec. 4-7, 2014), Kenes’ uniquely innovative and attractive e-posters were one of the highlights of the event.
Proof that scientific posters and interactive content are the future of the conference management industry, NMDPD participants were intrigued by the hi-tech look and feel of the e-posters and the new, ultra-attractive, interactive terminals. The new e-poster terminal includes a 60″ flat screen (approx. 150cm) mounted on a slim stainless steel stand with an iPad touch controller to manage the e-poster software. The system boasts a friendly user interface supported by an iPad touch screen to control the big screen. Supported by a powerful search engine, posters are easy to search/locate and can even be emailed to interested conference delegates or access email contact with authors, where authors control permission via the e-poster’s back office.
“Kenes has always been a pioneer in innovative technology solutions, anticipating the ‘next big thing’ and delivering it to our events,” said Iftah Amit, Kenes VP Sales and Marketing. “Our objective is clear – to enhance the participants’ experience. Our new e-posters will be implemented into several congresses during 2015 and 2016.”
