Applications and Data Support – Sofia

As a part of the Applications Team, you will be responsible for setup of Operating Software. This includes the provision of applications support for business critical applications in a fast-paced  environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setup of Operating Software;
  • Support for software incidents within SLA;
  • Software vendor interaction;
  • Systems Q&A from the back office and as user;
  • Set up new congresses and all the relevant systems related to them;
  • Prepare system for meetings with scientific committees and allocate materials for meetings;
  • Generate progress reports, including statistical reports prior/following abstract submission;
  • Support congress participants following abstract submission and scientific programme;
  • Set up/manage scientific program including programme drafts, data entry – import data, automatically and manually ongoing program scheduling updates, generating reports;
  • Prepare materials for print/online publication, including XML, eBook, congress app;
  • Work with the committee on the scientific program, including session proposals and abstract processing/scheduling;
  • Receive/upload information/data to the congress database;
  • Adhere to work procedures and production deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook;
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel and other systems;
  • Experience in an end user-based environment;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in administration support;
  • Excellent English (verbal & written) – strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to draft correspondence in English;
  • Highly detail-oriented, well organized, able to process vast amounts of data;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work in a Team and to multitask;
  • Service-oriented.
