The leading Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) Kenes Group was awarded a Gold Medal in the Agencies category, becoming the only PCO receiving such an accolade.
UNLOK Won it first award
Kenes Group Chief Digital Officer Audrey Alloul received the IAPCO Driving Excellence Innovation Award for leading the Digital Team behind the Continuing Education platform UNLOK Education, aimed at revolutionising Online Medical Education with quality content and cutting-edge search technology powered by artificial intelligence.
New CEO & Management Team
Ori Lahav became the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) while Dan Rivlin took on the role of Executive Chair and Chief Vision Officer (EC & CVO). A restructuring of the management team was implemented, answering to the needs of the company and the new state of the industry.
VirtuOz Won its First Award
The newly launched VirtuOz – the wizard solution to virtual events developed by Kenes Group – won its very first Gold award at Eventex Awards.
Sailing Through a Global Pandemic
A new IAPCO President – Ori Lahav, VP Clients & Operations at Kenes Group, stepped in during the IAPCO AGM in Vancouver, Canada, 39 years after Gideon Rivlin took the same post. Kenes Group celebrated another success at Eventex Awards as one of the most decorated companies in this edition. The year was complete with very successful virtual events, satisfied clients and new skills and services offered by the company.
New Year, New Awards, New Offices
Kenes Group strengthened its position with two new offices: in Lisbon and Seville. Kenes Group finished with top places at Eventex Awards 2019 and two core clients of Kenes Group Association Management team finish first at the International & European Association Awards 2019. The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) won the IAPCO Regional Client Award 2019.

Largest Event to Date
INTERPLAN organised the largest Kenes-managed congress to date with 12,500 participants for the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD).
First International Office Established
Kenes Group established global presence, partnering with INTERPLAN Germany, headquartered in Munich, with offices Hamburg, Berlin and Leipzig
