26th World Congress of Psychiatry (WCP 26) to Bring Together Global Mental Health Leaders in Stockholm, Sweden, on 23–26 September 2026

Stockholm, Sweden – September, 2026

 The 26th World Congress of Psychiatry (WCP 2026), the flagship global congress of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA), will take place from 23–26 September 2026 at Stockholmsmässan, Stockholm, Sweden, bringing together psychiatrists, researchers, clinicians, educators, policymakers and mental health professionals from around the world. The WPA represents 147 psychiatric societies across 123 countries and supports more than 250,000 psychiatrists globally.

Held under the theme“Guided by Compassion, Grounded in Science: Psychiatry for Our Time,” the congress will explore key priorities including global mental health, prevention and early intervention, psychiatric education, digital mental health, humanitarian emergencies, and the future of psychiatric practice. The scientific programme reflects the latest advances and emerging challenges facing the field of psychiatry worldwide.
