World Congress of Neurology: Delivering exceptional congress experiences

An Outstanding World Congress

The most visible educational activity of the World Federation of Neurology (WFN) is its World Congress of Neurology (WCN). As part of Kenes Group’s mission to deliver exceptional congress experiences, the team was tasked with producing a unique opening ceremony video, which had to promote not only the event but also the expanding role of WFN in the field of neurology and its key partners.

The mission of the World Federation of Neurology is to foster quality neurology and brain health worldwide. Currently, WFN represents 120 national societies in all regions of the world. Tasked to create a promotional video and use the platform of the XXIV World Congress of Neurology, the marketing team at Kenes Group had to produce a film to get the audience excited about what the federation and its member societies stand for:

  • Exploring the many facets of the WFN work, its activities and partnerships, past achievements and future opportunities;
  • Expanding WFN’s role with WCN and raising awareness;
  • Increasing the anticipation of the WCN as a vehicle for developing long-term partnerships, knowledge, and awareness.

With less than two months from inception to completion, the team had to find viable solutions to deliver the project on time.


Kenes Group worked closely with WFN to decide on the look, sound, and feel of the video that not only gave a real-life image of what is going on in the world of neurology but was easy to digest and entertaining to viewers. The Kenes team was actively leading in concept development, defining the topics, the structure, and the content.


The opening ceremony video was live-streamed on Facebook and uploaded on the WFN social media platforms. In only a couple of days, it generated more than 2,500 organic views.

The video showcased in a modern, informative, and professional way that each World Congress of Neurology promotes the mission of the World Federation of Neurology and together with its key partners and their combined reach strives to overcome the barriers to brain health and quality neurological care for all.
