Kenes is looking for a qualified Association Account Manager to manage the secretariat, activities and operations of not-for–profit medical associations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner in the design of each association’s strategy
  • Develop comprehensive business development strategy for the association to meet growth targets
  • Identify association trends/opportunities in individual fields
  • Association Management tasks include:
    • Act as management advisor to the association’s board, including overseeing elections
    • Coordinate/manage association’s activities and develop new products/services, including branding and visibility
    • Oversee/run association meetings, coordinate publications, journals, website
    • Manage all legal aspects, registration, secretariat, budget/forecasting, bookkeeping and accounting/payment
  • Manage interface with association board, committees, groups, and outside parties, including corporate sponsorship & fundraising activities

Requirements

  • University degree – Marketing, Business or related area of expertise
  • Proven track record of 5 years in event/project organization
  • Experience working with VIPs in multi-cultural environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Highly service oriented
  • Excellent English (verbal & written); additional European language – advantage
  • Computer literate
