Kenes is looking for a highly-motivated individual to join our marketing team and operate the email marketing service. The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for the day to day operation of the email marketing service including the dispatch of the company’s e-mail marketing campaigns, using a third-party online email marketing service and providing reports on outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Uploading and launching email marketing campaigns for all the company’s clients. Managing a job queue while meeting stated SLA’s
  • Implementing marketing automation tools, including the introduction of new functionality and integration with other sales and marketing functions such as social media, PPC etc. (via Marketo)
  • Tracking campaigns & preparing performance reports
  • Understanding and utilizing marketing data to suggest and execute A/B testing, segmentation rules and models

Requirements:

  • Experience operating email marketing systems
  • Understanding of marketing automation concepts
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently

Kenes is looking for a Registration Specialist to join the Registration department. The Registration Specialist is responsible for the registration of congress participants, invited speakers, committee members and other targeted audiences in the global events’ network of Kenes.

Participant Registration

  • Registration management in accordance with predefined work plan/timetable and in keeping with Kenes’ congress registration policies/guidelines
  • Responsible for entire registration “life cycle” including entering participant data, communication with all parties involved in the registration process, generating registration reports based on relevant data to finalize accounts with all suppliers post-congress

Accommodation

Manage hotel room block for all invited speakers in sync with the Accommodation Sales team

Requirements

  • Highly detail-oriented, very well organized and reliable
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, reporting problems as they arise
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; multitasking during all congress phases (prior to or during the event), with ability to work well under pressure for long periods, to prioritize and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality assurance for the Sales team: websites, reporting, etc.
  • Research potential clients for congresses, competing congresses
  • Research the industry trends and analyse opportunities for our congresses
  • Preparation of pre-sales materials such as online prospectus, preliminary brochures
  • Other administrative assistance: preparations of presentations for meetings, inputting data in our online CRM, etc.

Kenes is looking for a Scientific Programme Coordinator to join our Operations Department in Amsterdam. The Scientific Programme Coordinator will be responsible for our events’ abstract submission process, scientific programme coordination/management, and back office support.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for written communications, promotional and printed materials in relation to the congress programme
  • Preparation and management of all aspects of the scientific programme
  • Contact with congress VIPs, including committee members and invited speakers
  • Create/track initiated and dictated correspondence in English, with clients and other VIPs
  • Work closely with the committee on the scientific programme, including abstract processing/scheduling
  • Receive/upload information/data to the congress database
  • Provide texts (in English) for project literature, including proofreading
  • Responsible for print production of congress materials; coordinate/plan with graphics department
